Marilla Mae is a highly experienced director with over 30 years of musical theatre experience. She has a wealth of knowledge in all aspects of stage productions, from backstage management to lighting design, music direction to choreography. Marilla's expertise in stage directions and her keen eye for detail bring a unique and creative vision to every production she works on.
One of Marilla's greatest strengths is her ability to work collaboratively with her team. As Secretary for The Jesters Court Players in Ouray County, Leah Wesseling blends her 11 years of experience in non-profit organizations with a deep love for theater. She believes strongly in the unique ability of dramatic arts to foster self-expression and connection within our community.
One of Leah's greatest strengths is her compassion for all those whowish to build a fun and inviting community. She is committed to supporting a space where individuals can explore and celebrate themselves in a safe environment. Her collaborative skills and strong communication make her a respected figure among The Court and casting members.
Leah's passion for fun theatrical events shines through in every project she takes on. She is known for her kind and helpful suggestions, while she works her magic by bringing the community together little by little. Her love of performance arts is seen by her helpful coaching with the cast members, gently coaxing them to be the very best that they can be.
